The trend series for new motor vehicle sales has been suspended from May 2009. On 23 July 2009, tables 1 and 2 were amended. The value 'np' was removed from all trend series cells for the months of May and June 2009. The cell comment 'not available for publication' was added to the same cells. This change was made to facilitate easier loading of the time series spreadsheets into client software systems. No other changes have been made.
